Church Reopen Details

On July 16, Toronto will enter Step Three of the Roadmap to Reopen, allowing indoor church meetings with limit to the number of people that can maintain two meters physical distancing. We have the following arrangement on the church meetings:

  • Sunday School and Sunday Worship have resumed in the church premises. To keep to a congregating maximum, we ask brothers and sisters to register. If your registration is made on or after June 27, 2021, there is no need to register again.  Otherwise, please use the online form on our church’s website to register. In order to accurately count the number of participants, please submit the registration form on or before Wednesday at 10 pm. If the number of registrants exceeds our
maximum capacity, we will arrange brothers and sisters to attend the meetings on a rotation basis. We will individually contact those who cannot attend in-person meetings that Sunday before Thursday 9 pm. If you have signed up and have not received any notification, it means you can attend meetings at church that Sunday.

  • Starting from Sunday, July 11, the monthly Breaking of Bread Meeting in the evening of second Sundays and the morning of fourth Sundays will also be resumed. To keep to a congregating maximum, we ask brothers and sisters to register. Please use the online form on our church’s website to register. The arrangement for registration and meeting notification is the same as above. Online
meeting for the Breaking of Bread Meeting will not be provided.

  • For those brothers and sisters who attend meetings in church premises, please bring your own hymn book to church and submit your health declaration form on the church website within two hours before the meeting. Brothers and sisters can also borrow hymn book from church and keep it temporarily for use in various in person meetings.

  • Church online meetings are only a temporary measure during the pandemic, allowing brothers and sisters who are restricted to present in the church premises can participate. We encourage brothers and sisters to join in-person physical meetings as much as possible.
